I applied and was selected for a 6 month rental contract at Slate Asset Management through OCAD Universities' Center for Emerging Artists and Designers. The opportunity is something I am extremely grateful for.

OCAD Universities' Center for Emerging Artist and Designers created the opportunity for me to showcase my work at TOAF was incredible. Everybody was so lovely and the team at TOAF created such a lovely environment.
GradEx
Through life we are taught to endure spaces of uncomfortability - fast paced working environments built to break people down or familial homes filled with tension. Growing up as an international nomad, my experience of home is less about place and rather about a sense of safety. I connect the spaces I've come to think of as home in South Africa with the realities of suburban living in Canada. The final body of work is tactile and immersive, inviting viewers to experience the sanctuary I felt throughout the making process.
